Purchase Burial Rights
Please note that all site owners must be assigned to a site before a deed can be created. All deeds must be created within two weeks of burial rights purchase. If you have not been in touch with a Burial Coordinator to assist you in site selection, we will contact you upon receipt of your purchase. Burial Rights
The Burial Rights Fee covers burial rights including site selection, administrative services, record-keeping, perpetual care, permanent maintenance, and contributes toward land management work to support native pollinator habitats in our 130-acre nature preserve.
The Feathered Edge is an area between the forest and meadow where grasses, shrubs and trees will be planted on or around burial sites after burial. Having a place of transition between forest and meadow increases biological diversity. Planting on burial sites is led by the Greensprings Land Steward. Families are welcome to participate.

Burial Service Fee
The Burial Service Fee covers administrative services, record-keeping, site preparation prior to burial, opening of grave, placement of deceased and closing of grave. This fee cannot be pre-paid to Greensprings though funeral homes will sometimes accept pre-payment for this service.

The Site Location Change Fee is charged when an owner of burial rights wants to move from one assigned site to another within the cemetery. It would not be charged for amending a deed from unassigned to assigned or when burial rights are transferred to another person.
The Memorial Service Fee is charged when a non-burial event requiring staff oversight and support is deemed necessary.
